The missing spiritual component: awareness beyond mind and ego

Following up on the previous session's remark that a spiritual component was unaddressed in his life, Frederic asks the Wonders to explore it.

They say that what he is is more than what he thinks he is: his personality can be recalcitrant, definitive, practical and pragmatic, but his soul essence is not - that pragmatism is a function of the ego personality and mind.

When he senses there is more within him, that is what he should explore, rather than the world and its reality.

His experiments with energy and the illusions of reality have been a mind game about how well he could control and manipulate; spirituality is not about control but about realizing all that he is so completely that his own joy comes through in every aspect of existence, whatever he is feeling.

They describe an awareness that does not reside in the mind and ego - which defines itself through judgment, logic and definitions - but in the totality of what he is, inclusive of every other human being and every essence, with Earth being a very small part of what his essence is.

Science's Big Bang account explains the physical beginnings of life, but something else holds the atoms together, and that is what he is looking to explore - not to define or judge it, but to gain an awareness that transcends physicality and is not lost when he leaves the physical world.

His sharp mind, they say, is what keeps him in the physical realm, and the 'more' cannot be explained to the mind; even their own image of the space between atoms is inadequate.

What he seeks is the connection within himself to his soul essence, which is connected to the all that is, and which in time transforms behavior, psychologies and beliefs into a more inclusive, joyful individual.
