Going beyond the concept of choice - realizing you are choice ▶ Play excerpt05:01

Frederic notes that in many fields people master the rules and principles and eventually go beyond them, and asks whether one can likewise go beyond the concept of choice they have been studying.

The Wonders answer that going beyond the concept is to realize you are choice, which shifts it from 'I choose' (placing it outside oneself) to 'I am this choice' (placing it within), after which the only question is what you choose in an immensely varied universe that extends far beyond the physical.

Frederic reasons that once judgment is removed, choice is simply what is, and that as long as it remains a concept it is still separation and duality.

The Wonders confirm this cannot be explored from the mind's perspective: one must let go of the necessities to define, judge, understand, acknowledge and interact, and then it simply becomes that which is.

Asked whether this is feasible for a human, they say yes but with the caveat that one must be willing to command all that one is without reference of separation to anything - possible and therefore probable, though not highly probable.

Their encouragement is not to pursue the concept but to freely choose without justification, judgment or qualification, without reflecting on it or congratulating oneself, until choosing simply becomes one's nature with no dithering about whether the choice is right; only then can this concept begin to be explored.

Creativity as a judgment of choice, and why awareness of choice creates separation ▶ Play excerpt06:01

Frederic asks whether this ties in with creativity.

The Wonders say only to a point: it is just choice, and creativity is merely a different judgment placed on choice.

Asked whether automatic or subconscious reactions can be creative, they answer yes and illustrate it by raising a finger and moving it any way one chooses - movement is creatively created without thinking about creating.

They add that the concepts they give are simple, but the mind cannot accept simplicity and seeks complexity to validate its own judgments.

When Frederic asks whether free choice must be conscious, they reply it must be free, and that one should not get caught up in conscious, unconscious or subconscious, which are only aspects of the mind; what matters is whether you are choice, and if so, to choose.

Free means without judgment, justification or separation, without needing to define, categorize, obtain results or see consequences.

To Frederic's worry that without reflection he might act unaware, they say that if he is truly choice he is aware of who he is and therefore of the extension of himself that is choice manifested - but the key is not to spend time thinking about or looking at it, because the moment one is aware of the extension of one's choice, separation is created.

Frederic then asks how it can be discussed at all if discussing it creates separation; the Wonders agree, but say the discussion gives individuals an opportunity to explore, at first with the mind and eventually by becoming what they are.

They explain they are expressing this to humanity now to encourage a movement that can be chosen, expecting humanity to first try to define, categorize and judge it, until everything has been attempted and a choice is finally made, at which point what one is becomes what is.

They add that whenever Frederic speaks with others he is helping them past their own particular limitations up to the point he himself has reached, and that as he realizes himself more fully he can assist others further in their own self-realization.

The physical, mental, emotional and spiritual as one amalgamation connected to the universe ▶ Play excerpt03:20

Frederic recalls being told he tends to explore with his mind, and lists the other avenues: emotions, the spiritual side as a connection with everything, and the physical - which he says he can hardly forget given how much less he now sleeps.

The Wonders invite him to consider that he currently sees a separation between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, and to imagine realizing himself completely as an amalgamation of all those aspects, with his energy not limited by which aspect it belongs to, so that what exists at the emotional level can enhance or diminish the physical, mental and spiritual, and likewise for every aspect.

If that is agreed, accepted, experienced and expressed, one begins to realize one's interconnection with everything, moving from separation between self and universe to the realization that all of the universe is energy available to oneself, so that one never lacks energy or vitality for exploration.

From there one self-realizes that separation does not exist.

They note this is a movement that does take time as time is known in this world, but that it can eventually occur, and Frederic says he gets glimpses of it, including its effect on his physical energy.

Creative activity as a glimpse of possibilities, and energy outside the mind ▶ Play excerpt02:35

Frederic says he had been examining creativity from an emotional perspective and wonders whether he should focus more on free choice instead.

The Wonders caution against getting caught up in creativity.

Frederic explains his observation that when doing something he would call creative he felt much more connected to himself and more expressive of who he was, while acknowledging that this is still a judgment.

The Wonders reply that although such a reflection sits more at the physical level, it is a glimpse of probabilities and possibilities that can be explored.

In the reflection after the session, the channel describes sitting at the kitchen table simply staring into space with no thought at all, thoroughly enjoying the moment, and concludes that the moment one gets out of the mind there is energy and vitality, whereas returning to thinking brings a sense of heaviness, drag and increased awareness of physicality.
